Movie Matters Mini #6 - Top of the Lake

In this episode, which sees a return to the more off-the-cuff 'Mini' show format, co-hosts Lee Howard and Michael Mackenzie cherry pick some of the most interesting titles they've seen recently.

The spotlight then turns on Jane Campion's New Zealand based crime drama, TOP OF THE LAKE, starring Elisabeth Moss, David Wenham and Peter Mullan. Originally screened in the US as both a 7-part miniseries and as a 6-hour stand-alone film at the Sundance Film Festival, the show was recently broadcast in six hour-long episodes in the UK by BBC Two and charts detective Robin Griffin (Moss)'s investigation into the disappearance of a pregnant schoolgirl.
